About Me

MorganMorgan Tencza is a junior studying at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut.  She is majoring in communications and working on a double minor in sports studies and public relations. Her goal is to work in the sports media industry after graduation.

Morgan is currently a Digital Video Intern at NBC Sports Group in Stamford, Conn. She clips highlights of Premier League, NHL, PGA, NASCAR, and more. Those highlights are put on to NBC Sports website as well as the YouTube page.

Since she was a second-semester freshman, Morgan has held the title of Photography Editor for Quinnipiac’s newspaper, The Chronicle. Her role responsibilities include photographing various events and sports, as well as oversee the scheduling of the other photographers of the organization. She has been able to cover events such as the school’s Wake the Giant concerts, MAAC and NCAA tournaments, and the Frozen Four.

Morgan spent her summer with the Philadelphia Union as their Digital Marketing and Communications Intern. During her time with the team, she was able to learn new skills daily as a fully recognized member of the front office. The highlights of her summer with the team included being the team photographer for the 5-1 win over rival DC United in the country’s capital, as well as covering the MLS All-Star game in Orlando for both the Union and The Cooligans, a popular soccer podcast.

Morgan has worked with Bethlehem Steel FC as a photography intern in the summer of 2018 and currently is a contributing photographer for The Brotherly Game, covering the Philadelphia Union, Bethlehem Steel, and US soccer.
