Morgan Tencza is a junior studying at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. She is majoring in communications and working on a double minor in sports studies and public relations. Her goal is to work in the sports media industry after graduation.
Morgan spent her summer with the Philadelphia Union as their Digital Marketing and Communications Intern. During her time with the team, she was able to learn new skills daily as a fully recognized member of the front office. The highlights of her summer with the team included being the team photographer for the 5-1 win over rival DC United in the country’s capital, as well as covering the MLS All-Star game in Orlando for both the Union and The Cooligans, a popular soccer podcast.
For two years, Morgan was the photography editor for The Quinnipiac Chronicle, but had to give up her position in order to study abroad. She spent the Fall 2019 semester studying at Queen Mary University of London will be resuming her role as photography editor when she returns in January.
Morgan has worked with Bethlehem Steel FC as a photography intern in the summer of 2018 and currently is a contributing photographer for The Brotherly Game, covering the Philadelphia Union, Bethlehem Steel, and US soccer.
